Drive to Taynuilt on the A85 ; at the village crossroads take the road marked Glen Lonan by the Taynuilt Hotel/Guest House. Drive for approx 2 miles on the single track road, then on your left, there is a wide entrance with a cattle grid and a sign marked Sheiling for Deidre and Naoise Park at the entrance and follow the blue and white Sheiling for Deirdre signs for 3 miles/4.82 Kms. In the midst of the wind turbines you will find the Sheiling, a place for rest and reflection .
Access is by foot only; This is a good well maintained gravel track but good walking shoes are advised; route unsuitable for wheelchairs due to some relatively steep slopes; estimated walking time to top 1 hour.
